For generations, van Löben Sels Cellars has been a family affair. Jim and Kristina, who met while studying viticulture and fermentation science at UC Davis, built their partnership on both passion and expertise—Jim tending the vineyard fruit, Kristina guiding the wine making process.

More than forty years after the first van Löben Sels release in California, the family has returned to its roots with a new chapter in Washington state. Together with their three children, Jim and Kristina are reintroducing the van Löben Sels label, honoring the past while cultivating wines that feel both timeless and refreshingly new.
